LAN'asplode v11 Feedback Thread
« on: October 06, 2009, 09:15:59 PM »

Well, 'asplode v11 has come, seen and conquered so it's time for another feedback thread.

We know that we had fun and could see some people also did but we want to know how to make things better for next time. Without feedback we don't learn what we did wrong so we'll keep doing them.

Please try to keep the feedback constructive. Also please try not to rant about how the tickrate of the CS GunGame server was wrong for LAN - just post thoughts comments suggestions get to the point type stuff.

As always if you have something you want to discuss in private please PM either myself or Squid and we'll attempt to sort shit out for you.

Also, I'd like to know what people thought of the DC Hub script we were running. With the trivia, hangman, anagrams, numbers, name changing spells ad funny insults and whatnot.

Things I know to sort out for next time:
-Music playlist stuff
-Laptop needs fixing
-Comps were kinda rapid fire, spread out a bit more
-Foam daggers are not good for knife fights, get more pool noodles

The CSS gungame server was started by ZeroCool, not myself. So blame him :P (I just changed the hostname and a cvar or two since it was already running) I didn't realise there was anything wrong with it AND NO ONE TOLD ME!

Already had feedback from a few people that the scripts in DC++ were good.

I liked the idea of a themed lan but I thought it'd be better if there was more public awareness about it so that people could dress up and shit.
